Ski area in Forstau
Fageralm and Ski amadé
The ski bus stops 50 metres from the front door and takes you to Fageralm: a quiet, sunny ski area for families and easy-going skiers. Here is what you will find there, and which pass takes you further across Ski amadé.
Fageralm in six points
For families and easy-going skiers
That is how Reiteralm Bergbahnen describe their own mountain: a sunny high plateau with wide slopes, plenty of sun and plenty of room on the piste.
The new Fageralmbahn
An eight-seater gondola takes you from the valley station in Forstau up to the plateau. It replaces the two old double chairlifts, the Forstaubahn and the Jägerlift.
15 kilometres of piste
8 kilometres blue and 7 kilometres red, well groomed, with mountain huts for a break along the way.
The children’s area in the valley
A large children’s area with three children’s ski routes full of colourful figures and a wave track, for first turns in the snow.
A swing at the top
At the highest point of the ski area is the Goliath-Genuss-Oase: a big swing and a double lounger, with a view over the mountains.
Ski hire and ski school
Sport Resch, with a large range of hire equipment, is right by the Fageralmbahn valley station. Schischule Resch runs children’s courses with lunchtime supervision, private lessons and snowboard lessons, and full-day care for toddlers.
Which pass do you need?
Fageralm pass

For two days or more, valid across all of Ski amadé: up to 760 kilometres of piste in five ski regions and 25 ski resorts. A one-day pass is valid only in the area you choose.
